No. Transcoding runs on Transparent Edge’s infrastructure with an auto-scaling queue architecture. You specify the source file location and output format; the service handles the rest. There are no servers to provision, GPUs to maintain, or software to update. Integration is done via API and can be up and running in minutes.
The service publishes directly to FTP, SFTP, Amazon S3, MinIO, and Wasabi. You can configure the workflow so that transcoded video is automatically deposited into your production storage without manual intervention. It fits well into architectures with automated publishing or microservices.
Minutes are sold in packages according to each customer’s needs. The cost per minute decreases with larger quantities, and excess charges are defined in advance.
