Our network of globally distributed edge nodes replicates and caches the multimedia content of our clients’ origin servers, moving part of the application logic to the edge. That content is delivered to users from the location closest to the device they are using to connect to the Internet. Our edge video transcoder adjusts the quality of videos and converts them into the required formats, to guarantee the best user experience. Mid-Tier

FAQ
You can purge cached content across the entire network in under two seconds, whether by exact URL, regular expression, or surrogate keys tags. This allows you to maintain high TTLs (hours, even a day) without losing the ability to update content instantly. A media outlet correcting a headline or an e-commerce site changing a price will notice the difference compared to the response times of even minutes taken by other CDNs.
Most CDNs charge different rates depending on the type of traffic, which complicates cost forecasting and leads to unexpected bills. Transparent Edge applies a single rate per gigabyte transferred, without differentiating prices based on the traffic source. Financial planning is much simpler when your bill is predictable.
